The Top Ten GLMX Questions!
1.) What do you like most about racing? First off, the start/holeshot.
And also, since I’ve always raced the District 15 tracks in Indiana, I’ve
enjoyed racing the Michigan tracks this year on the GLMX circuit. The GLMX
tracks are well-groomed and safe for us older guys, while still being
competitive for everyone. So far I’ve raced RedBud, Dutch, Grattan and Log Road
and look forward to racing Baja, Big Air and Freelin.
2.) Tell us how you train for motocross? I’m unable to train because I
work all week and my training actually comes from racing. But each week my
racing’s getting better and better.
3.) What bike do you race and what do you like best about it? ’07 KX250
two-stroke. I change oil in it every week and do the filter after each race
day.
4.) What’s your favorite race to attend as a fan? RedBud Pro National.
5.) Who’s your all-time favorite racer? Mike LaRocco and James
Stewart.
6.) What is/was your favorite subject in school? Math.
7.) Favorite food? Steak and shrimp .
8.) Favorite movie? “On Any Sunday,” and “Supercross: The Movie,”
which reminded me of my brother and me racing when we were younger.
9.) What other sports are you into? I played football in high school.
Now it’s just motocross.
10.) What are
your racing goals for 2009? To finish in the top three in the 40-plus class in
the GLMX Series.
