Log Road offers up two great days of racing May 30th and May 31st

The next event at the track is always a fun one as the “C” Class Shootout makes it way to the familiar grounds at Log Road MX. We will still be running all the GLMX class, however, we will be going the extra mile for the “C” riders as extra large trophies will be up for grabs as well as being spot lighted in the event coverage turned into the GLMX website, Cycle News and Cycle USA. May 31st is also the 3rd round of the GLMX ATV Championship Series bringing out a large contingent of ATV riders for sure.

The “C” classes are sometimes over looked, but not at Log Road! Over the last three seasons, we have put together a Log Road series within the GLMX series with just the “C” Class riders in mind. The up and coming riders need their hour in the spotlight and they will have it at Log Road MX as the 2009 Log Road “C” Class Shootout gets underway on the last day of May. This series within a series will comprise of four different Log Road MX events on:

1. Sunday May 31st

2. Sunday August 2nd

3. Monday September 7th

4. Sunday October 11th

The Best six of eight motos will count towards the 2009 Log Road “C” Class Shootout year end awards that will be given out on October 11th, 2009 in the 85C, 125B/C, 250C, Open C, and Vet Sport classes.

The weather man says it is going to be in the mid seventies and mostly sunny all weekend long, sounds like perfect racing weather to me! Can’t make it this weekend? Then mark your calendars for our next Log Road MX Open Ride in Sunday, June 21st 11am-5pm and the next MX date on the GLMX schedule is the June 27th and 28th for our Log Road MX Great Lakes Championship event featuring Factory contingencies from Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki and Suzuki on Sunday June 28th.
