The Soaring Eagle Hotel & Casino in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan welcomes
the Great Lakes Motocross 2009 Awards Banquet Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009!
The banquet dinner is sold out. The Soaring Eagle was able to add 6 more tables, so we've added 60 more seats. Tables have been assigned in order to use all available seats. Sorry, but we can't make seating adjustments at this point. If you'd like to trade seats with someone at the banquet, you're welcome to do so.
Extra seating will be added after the food stations are removed, at approximately 7:15 - 7:30pm. EVERYONE is welcome to attend the awards presentations after dinner; no ticket required. If you're coming in after dinner, please let us know so we can plan to have enough seating. Email info@greatlakesmx.com.
All riders need to check in before the banquet, whether you're coming for dinner or not. When you check in your name will go in the drawings for various extra prizes, so don't miss out!
All tickets will be held at the door.
We've tried to contact everyone recently added to the seating, and anyone we were not able to seat. Our apologies if we missed anyone. If we weren't able to seat you, your check will be returned in the mail. And again, please join the awards presentation after dinner.

Cash bar includes soft drinks, beer, wine and liquors. Pricing for common selections:
$2.75 - Soft drinks & juices
$2.50 - Bottled water
$5.00 - Domestic beer (Miller Lite, Bud, Bud Light, PBR, Coors Light, Sharps NA)
$5.50 - Premium/Imported beer (Labatts, Labatts Light, Michelob Ultra, Heineken, Corona, Killians, Mike's Lemonade, Guinness Draught)
$4.00 - Wine by the glass
$5.50 - Absolute mixed drink
$5.50 - Bacardi or Captain Morgan mixed drink

Room rate is $129 (+ tax) which includes 2 adults and children 12 & under. Additional charge of $10 per person age 13 & up.
The Great Lakes MX block is sold out. There are still a few rooms available at regular price, but the hotel is close to being sold out completely. See alternate hotel info below.
Alternate Hotel - Baymont Inn - 1 mile from the casino:

Room rate is $87.20 (+ tax) for 2 queen beds, up to 4 people. Deluxe continental breakfast included. Pool & hot tub open 24 hours for adults; 7am - 9pm for kids.
Room rate is available through November 20.
Miscellaneous Venue Information:
The Soaring Eagle has a "Syber Quest" arcade, plus a "Kids Quest" supervised play area for younger kids.
Hotel pool is open to families from 9am-9pm, and to adults only from 6-9am and 9pm-12am. All children (under 18) must have an adult with them while using the pool.
We cannot bring our own food or beverages into the banquet hall.
All public areas in the hotel and casino are on the video surveillance system and monitored by hotel security. Children (under 18) may not be on the gambling floor.
AWARDS INFORMATION:
Awards will be ordered for all series, all award winners. Jackets or sweatshirts will be ordered for all eligible riders that contact us with a size by November 6.
If you're not attending the banquet, we'll ship your award(s) and jacket(s)/sweatshirts(s) for a fee of $15. Contingency product can only be picked up at the banquet.

If you have an award coming, we may need your shirt/jacket size ASAP. See order form for details.
All Series class champions will get a jacket, and many other places will get sweatshirts or fleece. Please note that the Mideast (fall) Series champions will get Cold Wave
winter jackets, which are different than the other series. They're much heavier coats
and cannot be embroidered or screened. Even if you're not sure you'll get an award,
send your size just in case!
