** If entered in the 85 C class, a rider may not enter any other 65cc or 85cc class in the same day.

 

*** If the points-paying 50 Sr. class races on the big track, a non-points paying 50 Sr. class may be offered

on the smaller track for kids who donÕt want to ride the big track.

 

Beginner classes are also available at Great Lakes MX tracks and are awarded at the events,

but do not pay series points or awards.  Class names and details may vary among tracks,

but classes include 50cc Beginner, 65cc Beginner and Open D classes.

 

50cc Specific Rules

 

If entered in the 50 Trail class, the only other series points-paying class a rider may enter on the same

day is the 50 SS class.

 

Riders entered in the 50cc Beginner (non-points paying) class may not enter any other class.  Beginning in

2010, once a rider enters another class, that rider is no longer eligible for the 50cc Beginner class.

 

50cc riders are NEVER advanced from the 50cc tracks by riding a Jr. or Sr. class on a big track. Example: You
can ride the big track one day in the Jr. class, then ride the SS class the next day on the 50cc track (as long as

you have a bike that fits the SS class.) The only restriction is that you cannot ride SS and Jr. in the same day.
